"Motorcycling With KK" - One of the first Motorcycle TV programs ever

Back in May of 1971 AMA President was promoting a local TV show in the Ohio market. With the help of WKEF-TV "Motorcycling with KK" was aired, covering topics like the Old Time Newsies and the sport of motorcycling. With co-host Johnny Walker channel 22 in Dayton Ohio can claim to be one of the first stations to ever air a Motorcycle program to the mass market. Other episodes covered motorcycle safty, the AMA itself, local riding groups, riding parks and more.

The main focus of AMA president was to use the new media outlet to raise awareness of the sport. This was successful and can be seen by the great response to the Old Time Newsies race of 1971 and the money they raised with ticket sales.
